Acceptable Use Policy

Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") defines what is and is not permitted on the ITZCULTURE platform. All users — buyers, sellers, and visitors — must comply with this policy. Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent termination.

Permitted Use

The Platform may be used for the following legitimate purposes:

• Browsing, searching, and purchasing products listed on the marketplace
• Listing and selling legitimate goods in compliance with all applicable laws
• Communicating with buyers and sellers about transactions through Platform messaging
• Managing your store, inventory, orders, and account settings
• Leaving honest reviews and ratings based on genuine purchase experiences
• Participating in community features as intended

Prohibited Items

The following items may NOT be listed or sold on ITZCULTURE:

• Counterfeit goods: Fake, replica, or knockoff products misrepresented as authentic branded items
• Stolen property: Any item known or suspected to be stolen
• Weapons: Firearms, ammunition, explosives, knives designed as weapons, brass knuckles, and similar items
• Controlled substances: Illegal drugs, drug paraphernalia, and unauthorized pharmaceuticals
• Recalled products: Any product subject to a government or manufacturer recall
• Hazardous materials: Items that pose a safety risk when shipped (flammables, corrosives, radioactive materials)
• Live animals: Living creatures of any kind
• Human remains or body parts: Including human tissue, organs, bones, or blood
• Sexually explicit material: Pornography, obscene material, or items primarily marketed for sexual use
• Hate items: Items promoting hatred, violence, or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or disability
• Government-issued documents: IDs, passports, licenses (real or fake)
• Financial instruments: Gift cards obtained fraudulently, counterfeit currency, stolen financial data
• Tobacco and vaping products: Cigarettes, cigars, vaping devices, e-liquids
• Surveillance equipment: Hidden cameras, GPS trackers, and wiretapping devices intended for unauthorized surveillance

Prohibited Conduct

The following behaviors are strictly prohibited:

Fraud and Deception:

• Providing false or misleading product descriptions, titles, or images
• Manipulating reviews (purchasing fake reviews, incentivizing reviews without disclosure, review bombing competitors)
• Creating fake orders to inflate sales metrics or seller ratings
• Misrepresenting product condition, origin, materials, or certifications
• Price manipulation, artificial scarcity claims, or bait-and-switch tactics

Platform Integrity:

• Circumventing platform fees by directing buyers to transact off-platform
• Sharing personal contact information (phone, email, social media) in messages to avoid platform protections
• Automated purchasing, scraping, crawling, or bot activity
• Creating multiple accounts to evade enforcement actions or policy limits
• Attempting to compromise platform security, exploit vulnerabilities, or upload malware
• Reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling platform software
• Interfering with other users' ability to use the platform

Harmful Behavior:

• Harassment, bullying, threats, or intimidation toward any user or staff member
• Hate speech, slurs, or content promoting violence against protected groups
• Impersonating another user, brand, or Platform staff member
• Doxxing (publishing someone's private information without consent)
• Spam, unsolicited commercial messages, or chain messages
• Using the platform to facilitate money laundering or other financial crimes

Intellectual Property

• Do not list items that infringe on copyrights, trademarks, or patents
• Do not use copyrighted images (photos, artwork) from other sources without authorization
• Do not copy product descriptions from other sellers or websites
• Respect the intellectual property rights of other creators and brands

Enforcement

Violations are investigated by our Trust and Safety team. Enforcement is progressive based on severity:

• Level 1 — Content Removal: The violating content is removed with an explanation
• Level 2 — Warning: Formal written warning with documentation of the violation
• Level 3 — Temporary Suspension (7 days): Account restricted for repeat or moderate violations
• Level 4 — Extended Suspension (30 days): For serious or repeated violations after prior warnings
• Level 5 — Permanent Ban: Account terminated permanently with no option to create a new account

Immediate permanent removal (skipping progressive steps) applies to: fraud, illegal goods, threats of violence, child exploitation material, and other criminal activity. Such cases may also be reported to law enforcement.

Reporting Violations

If you encounter content or behavior that violates this policy:

• Use the "Report" button on any listing, message, review, or profile
• Email: trust@itzculture.com with details and relevant URLs/screenshots
• Reports are reviewed within 24 hours and handled confidentially

We do not reveal the identity of reporters. Retaliation against anyone who files a good-faith report is itself a policy violation.

Appeals

If you believe enforcement action was taken in error, you may appeal by emailing appeals@itzculture.com within 14 days. Include your account email, the action taken, and why you believe it was incorrect. Appeals are reviewed within 5 business days.
